pyjamas
Well, I need some new pyjamas...
"For the November 15, 1931, Vogue, George Hoyningen-Huené captured the beauty of flowing bias-cut crêpe pajamas by designer Madeleine Vionnet. The model's Grecian-style pose also emphasizes the Classical quality with which the designer is associated."

queen mary
Shopping bag from fabric designed by Duncan Grant for the Queen Mary. His design was rejected. Ancient Industries have brought back some of his lost designs, including 'Queen Mary' (1936), above, and 'Charleston Grapes' (1932), below.

poire william
I am completely smitten by Poire William, a very potent eau de vie, best served chilled. But I am even more smitten by how they get the pear in the bottle (known as poire prisonnière) in some of the versions of this delicious digéstif:

welsh tapestry
I bought a sort of gorgeous, sort of vile Welsh tapestry handbag from ebay (where else?). Orange. Brown. Hmmm. But it works. The colours and patterns of Welsh tapestry are quite gorgeous. Their bold colours are nicely balanced by their very rigid patterns.
